ROUNDROCKCHAPEL "THE BACKPACK PLACE"

Round Rock Chapel is extremely honored to partner with SonRise Ministries of Round Rock First United Methodist Church to provide the distribution headquarters facility for its Back Pack Ministry outreach to help insure disadvantaged elementary school children do not go hungry over the weekend.

Area churches that are involved in the ministry are RR First United Methodist, First Baptist RR, Gateway Church, Church of the Hills, Palm Valley Lutheran, RR Christian Academy, St. William's Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

RRChapel also collects food for the RRISD 'Back Pack Project' and provides weekend food to students dependent on the Free and Reduced Lunch Program at Bluebonnet Elementary School.

There are opportunities to donate food to the back pack program, help assemble back pack kits on Thursday nights at 6:00pm, or distribute the packs to the schools on Fridays.
